Field Staff is running late for the next appointment

If Field Staff is running late for the next appointment,System to automatically assigned an available field staff to attend to the appointment. How can we achieve this. Please suggest?

    One challenge is to find out which booking is affected. Especially with a big number of bookings, workflows that check for delays will add significant overhead. Is the technician able to update the booking to say for example "Job will take 30' longer"?

    Once you know that a job takes longer than expected, you could:

    1. Run RSO for the remainder of the day. Depending on time windows and locked bookings, existing bookings of other techs might get shuffled as well. This approach makes sense if you have more work than capacity and maybe even different job priorities. Also works if you have available capacity.
    2. Run Schedule Assistant (or use the API to automate the process) to re-assign all jobs that are affected by the delay. This approach only works if you have available capacity, Schedule Assistant will only find gaps, but not re-arrange.
