SysMailer - undeliverable mail

Hi,

when sending out an email using the SysMailer class (which in the end will call sendMail()), I am not getting an error if I use an email-adress that does not exist.

Also, when I specify the "from-address", I am not getting an "Undeliverable" in that inbox neither.

Anybody has any idea how to intercept this? I was thinking that I could get the info out of the used _COM variable, but I don't see how.

Thanks for any help.

Kind regards,

Sven

Since the 'undeliverable' message is normally generated by the receiver's mail-server you cannot get an error when call sendMail(). The receiver's mail-server will process your message time shifted. These are asynchron processes.

But if you have specified a from address, you should get a 'undeliverable' message sooner or later. Are you sure, the mail system in general works (if the email-address is correct, the receiver receives the mail)?
