    Good Morning agus,

I do not know a single site that compares AX4 with D365FO.

What might help you are the what's new sites where you can get an overview of the new features for the different versions that came into place after AX4.

    Please see:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../whats-new-changed

    docs.microsoft.com/.../what-s-new-in-microsoft-dynamics-ax-2012

    community.dynamics.com/.../the-best-of-what-s-new-in-ax-2009

    www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

Those documents should give an complete overview of what changed from version to version.

If you compare AX4 with D365FO the number of changes are quite 'dramatic', that is there are a lot :-)

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

You would also need to consider context, what you use, what you want to use, why you use them, what you dont use etc.

Do you use Production? If you did I could talk about the Process Manufacturing addition, or the Lean Manufacturing addition, but even if you do would they add value?

We could add in retail, would you have a use?

Think bigger, you have the stack, so integrated PowerApps, Flow, PowerBI, AI builder are all available to you to "extend" F&O.

If you use CRM in AX4 you could consider D365CE as the CRM solution and tie it to D365FO.

What I will say is the product, functionally has some of the same core elements as AX4.0, but it really has moved on a long way beyond where it was!! :-)

I would like to add below. Apart from the feature differences or added up new features I believe below mentioned areas has been stands out from the rest.

    1. Advanced Warehouse capability through the Warehouse Management module. So you can use WHS Mobile App to process the warehouse work

    2. Transport Management Module

    3. Product Information Management module (Some features do exists but the structure has been changed considerably and included with additional features as well)

    4. Business Intelligence part has changed enormously with the use of Power BI

    5. Budgeting

    6. Power Platform (Includes Power BI , Flow and PowerApps)

    7. Like wise Steven Mentioned earlier Process Manufacturing and Lean Manufacturing

8 Also the Azure capabilities on cloud will be an added advantage as well
