How to prevent auto new line in Grid

I need some help.

I have created an AX form in AX 2009. I have created some custom filters. I notice however that when I filter using a value in a combo box that is not in the grid the grid automatically creates a newline.

How do I prevent the automatic newline for the Grid?

please check form datasource property : "insertIfEmpty" set this to "NO".

If you want to be able to create new records, the above suggestion is the correct answer. If you do not want to create records at all, set the AllowCreate property to No.
