How to reverse posted temporary credit limit adjustment journal in D365 FO?

Posted on by 154
Hi Experts,

Warm regards.

Your expert help is required in fixing the subjected issue.

The user has posted the temporary credit limit adjustment journal with an expiration date of 23-11-24. Now, the temporary credit limit value is superseding the actual credit limit as per the expiry date, while the required by user is actual credit limit. I have tried all possible ways but was unable to fix it, error that i am facing is "Date range overlaps with another temporary credit limit".

Hence, seeking your expertise. Below screen prints are for quick reference.

Thank you.

You can also remove the temporary credit limit by going to the action pane, selecting credit management, and then clicking on temporary credit limits. Choose the temporary credit limit you want to delete and click on the delete option.

Have you tried updating it? I mean creating a new temporary credit limit so that the current temporary credit limit and date ranges appear and you can amend it. So you can enter the new credit limit that should replace the current credit limit and dates.
