How do I fetch main account ID associated with a free text invoice?

Hi,

What do you mean by fetch?

Get the main account after the free text invoice is posted or lookup a main account while entering the free text invoice data?

You can just click on voucher and check the main account.

Hi,

Not sure, how you or business works, but it is very nice standard practice to use separate number sequence for Free text invoice and sales order invoice.

It should meet your requirement just by segregating number sequence of voucher/transactions.

Or, for free text invoice, a default description setup is very nice approach.

Hello,

take custInvoiceline.ledgerdimension and search in the dimensionattributevaluecombination.recId in this table, there is mainaccount field.

Or just use DimensionStorage::getMainAccountIdFromLedgerDimension.
