Page Inspection vs Personalization

I had an inquiry this morning regarding a customer's General Posting Setup.  It appears certain lines were blocked.  Using Page inspection we found the last user who updated and the update date.

That said, I was hoping to add those values onto the General Posting Setup screen.  But am not seeing them available via Personalization.  Without resorting to an extension, is it possible to add those objects to the General Posting Setup screen?  Please advise.

Thank you.

I'm using Business Central 21.0 DK version and have the blocked field in the personalization tab. However, this might be due to a different BC version or some customization. If you're not seeing it, you may need to customize the page and set the field property to visible (visible = true). Once that’s done, it should appear.

And Page Inspection means field exists in the DB (Table).

For the suggestion, if you want to hide any field on the page, you can set visible = false. This will hide the field from the page, but it will still appear in the personalization tab, and any user can add it back by using personalization.

    Hello,

In Business Central, after identifying blocked lines in a customer's General Posting Setup using Page Inspection, you found the last user who updated and the update date. However, these values are not available via Personalization to add to the General Posting Setup screen. Without resorting to an extension, it is not possible to add these fields directly to the screen.

    Hi JG,

You need to go to the profile, customize the page, and assign that profile to the user. While not all fields may be available, this will make some of the hidden fields accessible to all users assigned to the same profile.

    Thanks
    Ramesh

You need to customize the page to add those fields, those system fields are not available thru personalization to add.
