After assigning organizational restrictions to a user (System administration → Users → Assign organizations), users are no longer able to select projects in the Weekly timesheet (hour journal) under certain conditions. In our timesheets the users select project category first and then Project. It is possible for the users to register time across multiple legal entities in the same timesheet. All 3 project validation types are active in the process. Ater testing “Assign organizations”, when the user selects a project category first, the Project lookup returns no results, even though the projects exist and the user has access to the projects. This problem only exists when choosing other legal entities, not the current entity. The same user could previously see the projects before organizational restrictions were applied If the user selects the Project first and then the Category, the timesheet works as expected. How can I fix this problem with organizational restrictions implemented? We are not looking for a coded solution.
