Is there an appointment template available when creating an appointment in the timeline of a case?
There is an email template when creating an email but I dont see any template when booking appointment meetings.

You can insert templates when add emails,
but as far as I know, there is no template for appointment.

I think that there is no template for appointment,
But, you can configure the appointment FORM and the card that will be displayed in the Timeline. In the Form you can mention the fields that you want to see.
