NSF after removing paid transaction

We posted a AR check by our customer at end of month but the check was returned NSF the next month after the remove paid transaction has been applied. Now the transaction is in history. What is the best way to Return the payment and entered an NSF charge?

    I believe there is a tool in the Professional Services Tools Library (PSTL pronounced Pistol) that can return a transaction from history to open.
     
    PSTL can be installed from the Dynamics GP DVD image as a dictionary module.

    The PSTL tool name is RM Transaction Unapply.  It works great but you'll want to try it out in TEST (or TWO Fabrikam) company first as the messages when you unapply take some thought and you'll want to review what is on the report that generates.
