Saving edits to an existing View - Save change to existing View button is missing?

Hi

When making edits to an existing View, there was always a Save as or a Save as new View option at the bottom of the View list or in the ribbon bar. I have some unsaved changes to a View and the Save to existing view option is missing from the bottom of the View list and from the ribbon bar option too. I can't see any Save button anywhere and as soon as I navigate away from my edited View the change is lost.
Is this a bug or has Microsoft made an update and moved the Save As button and I just can't find it?

Thanks

I've found while being on the View if I press the advanced find button and edit the View that way It does have a Save button, made the changes this way and saved, but it took ages to actually then update the View on the page with the new changes. Is this going to be the only way to edit and save a View going forward?

I think general users who just want to make simple changes link adding or removing columns are going to find this way more difficult.
Why have the edit filter and columns on the main page if there is no way to then save it on the same page, doesn't seem very user friendly.

Which D365 product are you using? The D365 brand covers quite a few things, such as Finance and Operations, Business Central or Customer Engagement.

Potentially a browser or cache issue?  I've just tested in a couple of model-driven apps (sales hub and custom) and when I change the sort order of a column on a personal view, the buttons you're missing appear at the bottom of the view drop-down:

If you press ctrl + f5 to do a refresh does the issue persist?

Thanks for the suggestion @SohoMantis I have tried logging out and clearing all caches already and it didn't make a difference, what seems to be even stranger is other entities like Contacts/Leads and another custom entity all have the options displayed at the bottom of the View list like your screenshot and how I expect it to look but our main custom entity its just missing completely.

I suggest two things if the issue still persists for you:
    • Verify Permissions: Ensure you have the "System Customizer" role.
    • Try Clearing Cache or Using a Different Browser.

Thanks @Aymen CHELBI I have tried all of those things already and I'm system admin so have full access rights

I am also noticing this behavior, following thread to seek a potential answer. One workaround we found, is if you modify the view, select the 'Refresh' button', or re-select the view, the option to 'Save Existing Changes' then appears. Seems to be a bug as this issue is only reproduceable in our EMEA environment and not in our NAM environment.

I resolved this in Power Platform Admin Center. In Settings > Features > Advanced Find Options, I turned this feature ON: Modern advanced find in model driven apps.

@EA-09092235-0 Thank you so much this solved the issue and is going to save me so much time having these options back!
