No. Sharepoint & AOS server are on same box. Firewall is off too.
if you have Sharepoint Server and AOS Server separately ( Mean Not One Box ), temporarily disable/Turn Off firewall and try to configure again, you must turn off firewall on both EP and AOS Servers.

I tried giving random 5 digit number but it still throws the below error. The port is not used by any other process. I have been working on this from past 3 days.
Trying to see if port 25157 is free on machine AOS-VMSRV. Min port we will try is 1024, Max port we will try is 49151

1433 port is using by SQL servers so better not to use it for any other application if you are running the configuration wizard most of the time it will take random port numbers for the central administration but you can specify the port number, better to use 5 digit port number less than 65635 refer the following table as a guideline
