I see in Service i can indicate when the company is closed.  That business closure does not seem to affect Field Service.

How do i set up a Statutory / Public Holiday; say Christmas Day in Field Service, so that i will see that on the Schedule Board?

thanks!

    Hello,

If you need business closure affect on Schedule Board, you can set up Time Off on for your bookable resource Work Hours.

Go to Bookable Resources, then select a resource. from site map go to related records and select Work Hours, create Time off for your resource and click on Save. Then if you go to schedule board, you can see this time off period which you have set up for that resource in gray.

Thank you so much for the answer / reply.

Wow what an unsophisticated solution, if that is the only solution.  If I have lots of bookable resources, to have to go to each one would be extremely inefficient.  Is there at least a copy function?

    Ok,

Select a Bookable Resource and apply closure days on it's work hours (as I mentioned above). Once you did it, go to the list of Bookable Resources and select that resource which you applied changes on its work hours. By selecting the resource, on the ribbon bar you have to click on "Save Calendar As", select a name and click on Save.

Then on the list of Bookable Resources, select more resources (the resources which should have the same closure days), one selected resources, click on Set Calendar and select the Work template which you created on previous step, click on Apply and Work Hours will be applied for other selected resources. So then if you go to the schedule board you can see the changes and the selected resources will have the same work hours/closure days.

Still a bit unsophisticated solution, but it works, if i change the "master" calender after adding the Public Holidays it does not update all bookable ressourses, even tho they are using the template? It is not live as you might think when using a template.

Is there a way to highlight the days in the planningboard so it is possible to distinguish between public holidays and the weekends?

Furthermore is there a way to activate to show in fieldservice mobile application so the public holidays show up on the bookable ressourse own calender?
