Broken Links in AX2012 and AX2009 Installers

It appears mandatory prerequisites for AX2009 and AX2012 have been removed from the Microsoft website.

AX2012:

The C++ 2012 Redestributable (x86) and (x64)  links in the AX2012 installer no longer work.  If you search the MS site, all the pages that refer to that installer use bad links as well.

Does anyone know where you can find these now?  or.. have a copy of the the C++ installers you can make available?

AX2009:

The VS2009 SP1 links in the AX2009 installer are also missing.  Once again, a search of the Microsoft site, MSDN, and Visual Studio Dev sites turns up nothing that meets the requirement.  Luckily, I had a copy of this one archived and posted it on dropbox to help out others with the same issue.  https://www.dropbox.com/s/nm0ts8zd6lnz3ff/VS10sp1-KB983509.zip?dl=0

Thanks,

- Brad

Many of the prerequisite components are available on the AX installer kit ISO itself. I do not have AX in front of me right now, but have a look at folders like redist or support, if they exist. The installer offers you to deploy the ones missing by ticking the Configure checkbox in the Prerequisite validation screen, pointing to those folders. A couple of components are not available there though like AS AMO, ReportViewer, and a couple of others. I will have a more detailed look later tonight.

Thanks for the tip.  Between the Configure button and the Link to the website, it didn't occur to me to look on the DVD.  Back in business.

..which does make you wonder why the installer goes to the web and fails, when it could have pulled it from the disc.
