AZURE - Difference between VM and the Script VM

Hello everyone,

I have never used AZURE and want to check it. What I did was create a free account on azure and then create a Dynamics NAV VM machine. In that NAV is working fine.

What I want to know is what is the different between the pre defined VM and the VM that created with Script.

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn271695(v=nav.90).aspx

Is there a difference in that? or can I use this pre defined VM for production environment also?

with a PowerShell script you have more control over what you doing, with the pre defined VM you have limited control over settings.
