Add data from Excel to Dynamics

Hello everybody!

I have following issue: Our Sales people need to weekly update the opportunity fields "current needs" and "next steps". We would like them to fill in this information in an Excel file. As of now we have a dynamic Excel list which gets refreshed every time so we have the live data to work with.

However, what would be nice is to have the Sales guys entered the new data into the Excel, which then gets refreshed in Dynamics, so that we not only have the refresh from Dynamics tzo Excel but also the other way round. Do you know any way how to do this?

Excel online only works for one person and this Excel cannot be shared, right? Is there any other way to do this or will we have to bulk import the info entered into the Excel?

Thanks for your help, let me know if you need more clarification on this!

Thanks, best Madelaine

    Hi Maddy,

Maybe you can build and run flows from Excel:

With the new Flow button, you can create and trigger automations from Microsoft Flow on your table data in Microsoft Office Excel (Excel) to automate data processing or the copying/importing of data.

A powerful way to get data from Excel into Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement

    Hi Maddy,

You can utilize dataflows to keep data in sync.
