Create a script to create a CR memo in MS GP

Hi,

We are trying to create a CR memo against a DR with the e-connect procedure, we have successfully created that entry in the database but getting a problem in referencing with GL-Account details.

Can you let us know on which table to search that reference and also a relation between RM tables and GL accounts for AR transactions,

    Hi Ashok,

    As long as you are posting the CRs by detail the following fields should match after RM/GL Posting is completed in Dynamics GP:

    GL20000 (GL Open) - RM20101 (RM Open):

    ORGNTSRC=TRXSORCE

    ORCTRNUM=DOCNUMBR (RMDTYPAL=9 for CR)

    ORDOCNUM=DOCNUMBR (RMDTYPAL=9 for CR)

    ORMSTRNM=CUSTNMBR

    Thanks Jeff,

    But I am talking about unposted data state.

    we are not able to pass the  account reference detail in the eConnect taRMTransaction

    Please check the highlighted field it is taking some other account number and also not reflecting in JE

    Hi Ashok,

    There won't be a GL association until the posting so when unposted the RM entry should pull the default account in from the Customer Card (Cards | Sales | Customer).

    However, the DISTTYPE of '18' is 'In Service' which his not a field set at the Customer level but at the Company level (Tools | Setup | Posting | Posting Accounts):

    Distribution Types:

    1 – SALES

    2 – RECV

    3 – CASH

    4 – TAKEN

    5 – AVAIL

    6 – TRADE

    7 – FREIGHT

    8 – MISC

    9 – TAXES

    10 – MARK

    11 – COMMEXP

    12 – COMMPAY

    13 – OTHER

    14 – COGS

    15 – INV

    16 – RETURN

    17 – IN USE

    18 – IN SERVICE

    19 – DAMAGED

    20 – UNIT

    21 – DEPOSITS

    22 – ROUND

    23 – REBATE

    As such, I would recommend checking the Posting Accounts | Sales entries to ensure the default 'Services' account is in place to see if the integration will pull in the default 'In Service' account in as a result.
