Commmodity Code - Specified category Hierarchie is not valid

Hi,

i want to set up Intrastat with Dynamics 365. I simply can not get a commodity code selected. when i try and select on in released products i get an error saying "specified category hierachie is not valid or is not active"

i have set up a hierarchy of type commodity code, 

i have assigned the product to the category

Ashampoo_5F00_Snap_5F00_2018.07.11_5F00_14h59m06s_5F00_010_5F00_.png

i have set up the categories with codes

i really dont know what else to do. Has anyone an idea?

    Hi Ruben,

    You have to specify the hierarchy per legal entity in: Module Tax > Setup > Foreign trade > Foreign trade parameters. Once that is setup, you got rid of this error.

    Wow Thanks Andre.

    I would love to see the Documentation on this. i have read the doc multiple times. No where does it mention to select the hierarchy in the parameters of Tax Module.

    Pretty frustrating, but i guess thats why we got the community.
