Unit of measure lookup filtering on quote line quick create form

Hi, we were using standard form to create quote lines by now, but when we turned on quick create capability to quotedetail entity, we noticed one difference. Unit of measure lookup field does not get filtered based on product/pricelist combination. In standard form, we can see that a custom view gets created automatically and we are able to select only from those units the product is configured with in pricelist (via pricelistitem). In quick create form, we get to choose among all the units.

Is this by design or is it a bug? Could someone try to reproduce the same in own environment?

Hi partner,

I tested it in my environment and didn't encounter this problem.

The Unit field can be automatically populated in the quick create form of quote line.

However, if I remove the auto-populated Unit, and then click search button, I will see "A required field cannot be empty."

So I think this is also a bug.

I have raised a Microsoft support ticket.

If there is any progress, I will follow up here.

Thanks for your answer, I figured out that the standard quick create form works as expected so I used the "Save as" on that form and customized it to our needs, it works fine now.

The out of the box form works as expected, had to create a copy of it and than customize instead of creating a new one from scratch.
