Which Table contains "Cost Value" field to create Margin report from Crystal?

Hi All

    I am in the middle of creating a Marginal report by item from Crystal. I am particular looking for a field, namely " Cost Value", which I can see under: In AR, Select any Invoiced SO and clicking into it--->Invoice Journal---> selecting the invoice-----> click "TOTAL" Tab.   I can see the field.  However, I do not know which table is this field sitting in?

    As I know, there are 3,697 tables in MS AX2012 and it is time consuming to locate a specified field I need in some situation such as this one.

    Is anyone have a quick way for the solution?  Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Km Li,

    The cost value of a sales transaction is stored in the inventory transactions (InventTrans). The key is the field InventTransId on these tables. Additionally depending on the inventory model (Fifo, Lifo Average), an inventory recalculation or closing will create records in the table InventSettlement. These records may contain cost value corrections caused by the recalculation.

      Thank you very much for your response.  However, I still not see the field: Cost Value, which suppose to be unit cost.  Unless I use formula ({INVENTTRANS.COSTAMOUNTPOSTED}/{INVENTTRANS.QTY} to figure out the cost value.

    Hi Km Li,

    You are right: A field cost for one unit is not available. Indeed you have to divide the CostAmountPosted field by the Qty.
