position employees count - HRMS Ax2009

dear all ,

In HRMS Ax 2009 how i can define for the system that for example the position Accountant should has 10 employees ,

 so after that when i make hiring for  7 employees for example i can see that there are 3 places vacant for this position i need to hire for it ??

    Hi,

     In Ax Position name is Unique to employee per organizational unit so you can just have accountant or u shd have accountant 1-2-3 so on .

    From position details u can filet and see the details.

    thanks alot for  your reply,

     

    but do u think is sense that when i have for exmaple 500 labour in my factory i should add 500 position ,

     it is so bad if the system not facilitate this issue !!!

    kindly if you have work around for this one try to help me .

    Hi,

     As far as my knowledge goes.U can greate a posiiont (only one)as accountant and create joba which can repeate multiple times by using job templates .IN you case

    First create a Positions Accountant from 1 ....10,

    Go to job master form create a job called Accountant

    Now in position template for Each unique position (from acc 1 to 10 ) assign the same Job (Accountant) with diff employees so Job remains constant like labarour but postion is unique use .

    For a single job, you would have created ten positions. after assigning the positions to the selected applicants. you can lookout for reports of number of open positions
