Credit Card Capture Failed

(0) ShareShare

Last night we had a total of 42 orders fail to finalize the CC charges that had been successfully authorized. I'm seeing this error message:

Capture failed: The application has encountered an unknown error(20002); General exception(20002);

I haven't been able to find much more about this error message and what it could mean. Has anyone else seen it or know where to look to resolve it?

    RE: Credit Card Capture Failed

    We use CyberSource and it looks like the situation ended up being that they were having connection issues on their end, which explains the error log saying "unknown error".

    Thanks for your reply!

    Did you check for additional entries in Credit card transaction history ? Credit Card capture requires networking connectivity to provider. AX Server could communicate successfully with provider ?
