Starter License - have not permission to read Cost Application Setup

Dear,

I ordered the starter license for customer, but I have not permission to post because in codeunit 11 - function RunCheck, have a coding that read the "Cost Accounting Setup" table (1108).

IF CostAccSetup.GET THEN
  CostAccMgt.CheckValidCCAndCOInGLEntry(GenJnlLine."Dimension Set ID");

Is this the error of license or I must mark the comment for these lines of code?

    Hi Khoa Nguyen,

I create new company and clear all data of Cost Accounting Setup, but i don't know why still get this error.

I solve this problem by customize to pass through those lines of code.

    Thank everyone.

    Hi WayneNL,

Implement from blank company helps you out of the error. It is due to existing sample data in CRONUS company that some clearing tools do not cover. The Cronus and Partner licenses can read all tables whereas Starter License cannot read/insert/update/delete data of these tables.

I am having the same problem. This not only happens in CU11, but also in CU12 and in the OnModify-trigger of Table 15 (G/L Account). I think this is a license issue. It does not help if you delte the contents of this table. In the earlier days this also happened with the Change Log Setup table: if you would have demonstrated the functionality of the Change Log with a developers license, and then had deactivated the Change Log in the setup table, but had not deleted the Change Log Setup record itself, the customer  would receive an error when he tried to modify anything. The only solution was to delete the record in the Change Log Setup table. Apparently, this is no solution for this issue, since deleting the contents of table 1108 still gives this error.

As Mohana already said, delete all data from that table with your (partner) license.

To check if the object in your license range go to development environment and then in then open the object designer (Shift+F12)

Then select the table 1108 and then click on lock (Ctrl+Alt+L).

If the object get lock that means u have the access to the object.

I must apply the license for customer, so i test first  but i get this error.

I have checked the information that Cost Accounting module just available in Extended Pack, but the code in COD-11 call the table in Cost Accounting module. As i understand,  the starter pack cannot post into G/L.

My action is removing these lines of code, but i need to know that i must do this for any customer use starter pack license.

If the Object is not included in your license then please delete the data from that table using Partners license and then try again
