CRM Appointment Outlook Sync issue

Hello everyone!

Our organization has the following issue;  when an appointment is created in CRM, it does not sync with the Outlook calendar.  But when an appointment is created in the Outlook calendar, it syncs perfectly well in CRM when tracked.  How do I go about fixing this issue?

A couple of things worth mentioning; tasks created in CRM sync perfectly well with Outlook.  Also, everyone receives an error when created an appointment in CRM, indicating that the appointment is "outside of their scheduled work hours".  However, nobody in our org has scheduled work hours, and their User profiles all reflect this.  Not sure if this is causing the appointment sync issue.

Anybody have any ideas?  We're upgrading to 2015 in about a week, so hopefully that would resolve this if it's part of a fix.  But I'd like to get ahead of this is I can.

Hi Pete - Have you tried giving an user scheduled work hours and then getting them to create an appointment in Outlook and see if they get the hour. It could be the working hours that's the issue

    Hello Noel

I changed my own work hours from "All Day" to a typical 9-5.  I created a new appointment in a test account, removed everyone from the "required field" and receive the "You are outside of your work hours" error.  But if I put the test account in the "To" field, I don't receive that error.  CRM also seems to associate "All Day" as "Not working", because when I was changing my hours back to All Day, the option I had to choose was "Not Working".  Very odd.
