Security roles caching

I have an issue with custom roles in d365 FO. User has custom role that contains a privilege that allows him to approve timesheets through standard workflow(Review timesheet line workflow).
When the batch job is processing the workflow task user got an error : /Stopped (error): X++ Exception: Work item could not be created. Insufficient security permissions for user *userName*. Please review the user's security permissions to ensure they are sufficient for this workflow document and then resume the workflow.at SysWorkflowW/.
I tried to sync the roles and repair them in security configuration form. It did not help. After that I removed the roles and assign them again and it worked perfectly. So I assume that is a caching issue. Does anybody had same issue? Does anybody knows are the roles cached somehow?

    Hi,
This could be due to caching issues, you can try the following methods to address this issue:
    1. Clear Client-Side Cache: Clear the cache and cookies in the client (browser or application). Sometimes, client-side caching can lead to permission issues. Close and reopen the client to ensure the new permission settings take effect.

    2. Restart Application Services: Restart the application services. This can sometimes force a refresh of the permission cache.

    3. Wait for Cache Updates: Sometimes, D365 F&O may take some time to automatically refresh the permission cache. Wait for a while and then try the workflow task again.

    Best regards,
    Kevin

    Hi,

There could be indeed some caching. Did you assign the new role and directly tested the workflow or did this user have the role already a bit longer? I'm trying to understand if the time between assigning the role or maybe changing the role contents would be valid for the cache or not.
