Hello Good people,

I have an issue with the relationship between Accounts / Contacts and Opportunities.
I'm using Dynamics 365 Sales Professional.

I created
> a test Account : Phil-it
> a test Contact : Phil VL
> a test Opportunity : Test for Opportunity Account Link

(But the problem is there for all accounts / opportunities.)

When I go to 'Opportunities' I see this an Opportunity : /Test for Opportunity Account Link/
the contact in the opportunity is /Phil Vl/ and the Account is /Phil-it/.

When I click on /Phil Vl/ the Contact form is shown correctly.
When I click on /Phil-it/ the Account form is shown correctly.
The opportunity shows fine in the opportunity list.

all good so far.

But when I go to the Account i see 2 problems :

1/ Clicking on 'Related' -> Opportunities doesn't yield any result,
no error message, nothing at all.

2/ Clicking in the 3rd colom and select instead of 'Contacts' -> Recent Opportunities.
Doesn't yield any result but shows a message : /The view is not available. Please contact your system administrator/

The same behaviour is there when I start from 'Contact'

3/ Clicking on 'Related' -> Opportunities doesn't yield any result,
no error message, nothing at all.

4/ the 3rd colom shows 'Recent Opportunities'.
Doesn't yield any result and shows a message : /The view is not available. Please contact your system administrator/

Can anybody help me starting the investigation?
How to start investigating this issue ?
I'm the system admin so I should have all rights.

Thanks a lot.

    Hi Partner,
1.The key point is a field of type customer on an opportunity entity - Potential Customer:
--Check the value of this field.
--Go to the account/contact form represented by this value to check if you can see this opportunity
2.There are two 1:N links between accounts and opportunities, contacts and opportunities:
3.Take the account as an example:
Go to Settings > Advanced settings > Customizations >Customize the system > Entities > Account >Form > open 'Sales professional' form:
1)Check the relationship used in the 'Opportunity associated view' on the account/contact form(Related > Opportunities).
--Click 'Navigation' button, On the left hand side, find the used opportunities and check it's relationships.
--If it's not what you need, find it on the right hand side and double click on it, it will automatically appear on the left hand side
2)Check selected entity of 'recent opportunities' component:
--Double click it to open properties dialog:
    You can select 'Opportunities(Account)'

I hope you can mark my answer verified if it is helpful! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
    Regards,
    Leah
