Queues in manual decision nodes in workflow

Hi everyone

As per Microsoft Technet, I can use queues to assign manual decisions to users (technet.microsoft.com/.../dd309606.aspx). However, in my workflow on the Invoice Register (a standard workflow under the Purchase Ledger), when I want to assign to a queue, no queue is listed whether I choose "Work Item Queues" or "Conditional Queues". I guess the underlying reason is that there is no queue document that is associated with this workflow. Although it is then beyond me why the option to assign to queues would be available.

So, what am I missing? Does this need to be customised? Am I missing an option somewhere?

    Work Item Queues have been set up. But it seems I need to mandatorily set them up for a document. And there seems to be no document relating to the Invoice Register workflow. So, I am confused. Help says it can be done, but I can't get it done on the system. Very puzzling.

    Hi Crispin

    I think in EN-GB set up that document is called Supplier Invoice? If so, I do see it, but that queue is to be used in the Supplier Invoice workflow. A queue based on that document does show up in the Manual Decision node for the Invoice Register workflow. At least, not in my system.

    My company raised an issue with Microsoft. The short of it is that Microsoft does not regard Invoice Register as a separate workflow and therefore the Document Type to link the queue to the Workflow is missing. We were told to customise it....
