When I work in Axapta, I can work up to a certain point and then, when I click on a function that opens a new window, the new window will either just not open on my screen, but it will be visible on my task bar, but I cannot maximize it and the small window icon is empty. If it doesn't jump to the bottom immediately, the new window will open, and then looks like it is sliding to the bottom and off my screen (hopes this makes sense!). It then sits on my task bar, but again, just an empty block and I cannot maximize it.
For instance, I can go to my product page, select a product, click on the SELL button to look up a cost price, but then that cost price window will 'slide'off my screen. The same when I am processing a Sales Order, I can complete everything, but when I want to print a delivery note, that window will slide off the screen.
Our IT department cannot seem to fix it and it is very frustrating as I can only work up to a point and then I have to pass my work on to other people.
I did clear my Cache this morning, and managed to then print a delivery note and an invoice - even though the window minimized immediately, but I could right click on it on the task bar and the maximize function was active for me to click on (normally maximize is not active). Now, a few hours later I am back to where I am trying to confirm a Pro Forma, and I cannot continue because I have the same sliding screen and maximize is light grey so I cannot click on it.
Anything that I could possibly try - I am not computer savvy so please don't use high tech terms - I will be lost forever.
