How to get a developer license key ?

Hi ,

We are trying to integrate Navision data with another system ( Podio.com ) and trying to call custom web services with default license. When I tried to create an  object to consume web service ,I got an error "You do not have permission to run the Design ,CodeUnit, Contact your system administrator to have permissions changed". On exploring I could able to know that I need a developer license.

We are Microsoft Bizspark Partner and is it possible to get a license key as part of this? If not - what should I do to get a developer license?

    1. You can work with an existing NAV partner on your project

    2. You can go through the NAV certifications to get a dev license.

    3. Ask Microsoft. But they'll probably say no, but it's worth a try.

    You can do as Alex said (no. 1 or 2; I think no. 3 is not possible), or you may ask your client to extend own license with developer granule (Application Builder / Solution Developer). This is not cheaply, but it is possible. You can find more details on: community.dynamics.com/.../206065.aspx
