Inventory weigted average cost

Guys, 
i created a new product master with configuration variance.
 
i create item as below: with weighted average costing by site only
VR0001
 
Configuration:
0030
0051
 
I bring in the item with the cost below
0030 10 1000
         10 1200
weigheted average cost as : 110
 
0051: 10  1200
 
I found that the weighed average is calculation by product variance. Can i have the weighted average cost without considering the product variance?
