Action "Lists items present in table" - "top count", "skip count" and "Pagination treshold value"

Hi,
Can somebody explain how to use the "top count", "skip count" and their relation to the action setting "Pagination - Treshold value" when using the Dynamics365 F&O "List items present in table" action ? I need to retrieve entities in blocks of 200 for a total of some 2000 to do some reporting. At present, the action fails  when I try to retrieve 400 items. This is for a custom made entity.

Any pointers with a clear explanation how these parameters work together ?

Thank you,
Marc

If you need to retrieve 2000 records in blocks of 200, you can follow these steps:

Set Top Count to 200: This parameter will limit the number of records retrieved in each API call to 200.

Enable Pagination: Under the action settings, find and enable pagination.

Set the Pagination Threshold Value to a Higher Number: Ensure the Pagination Threshold Value is set high enough to cover your total record count (e.g., 2000). This will ensure that Power Automate fetches multiple batches until all records are retrieved.

    Hi VaHiX,

Thanks, this was the information I was missing. After some playing around I managed to create a loop with the pagecounter used to calculate the "skip count" (pagecounter x page size)

    Thank you,
    Marc
