How to publish Data entity and methods in Data entity

Hi All,
 
I wanted to learn more about Data entities in D365FO, wanted to know about how to publish Data entities and what are all methods are there in Data entities.
Please provide your valuable inputs.

    Hi Akbar,

    For example if you want to use the entity in odata, The "Enable public API" property on the entity needs to be true. Where Public entity name and Public Collection name are filled.
    In order to use the data entity for export and import in DMF, make sure "Enable data management capabilities" on the entity is set to true.

    There are alot of methods on the data entity, some of the important ones are:
    PostLoad, mapEntityDatasource, insertEntityDatasource, updateEntityDatasource, mapDatasourceToEntity, postTargetProcess, initValue, insert, update, delete...etc
