Is it possible to populate purchase orders in NAV2015 using an .xlsx file in the front end?

Example - a purchase order with 50 line items is a lot of manual data entry, can this be done with a .xlsx file upload by a general end user ie not in the backend by IT guys.

For which process you need detail instructions? copy and paste are self-explanatory, for rapidstart, there are so many online examples. Please search.

You can use the Rapid Start or Just select the Purchase Order Line and use Copy Rows and Paste in the excel and create other lines by changing item no. or quantity and copy the rows from excel and paste in the NAV.

RapidStart / Configuration Package is the preferred method to upload this type of data.
