Dynamics 365 Error - State code or status code is invalid.

Hi All,
I am looking for some suggestion regarding an issue that I am facing.
My client is Dynamic 365 Version 1710(9.1.0.14453) online. They are currently using the web based client.
As part of MS deprecation of the "Web Client"  later this year the client wants to switch over to the Unified Client Interface.

As part of this process I was trying to implement this change in the Sandbox environment.
I toggled the instance to use the Unified Client Interface -> I took a backup of Prod-> Reset the Sandbox -> Restored the copy of Prod on to the Sandbox environment.

As part of testing when I tried to create a Case I am met with an error.
State code or status code is invalid
State code is invalid or state code is valid but status code is invalid for a specified state code
Error code: 0x80048408

Thinking it might be a data issue. I exported the solution out of Production and imported it into a clean instance(Trial).
I tested the Case creation and I am being met with the same error.

Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello,

Maybe the issue is related to a business rule configured on the Case Form that it's attempting to modify the status of the case. Can you please check all the business rules in the form? Also if you prefer, you can disable all of them, review if the case get saved correctly. If yes, start to enable them one by one until you reach the faulty one.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Yader,

All business rules, Javascripts and plugins have been disabled.

An update that I have is that when I switched the instance back to the old web based client, I am able to create a Case.

This issue is only showing up when I switch on UCI.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Thanks for sharing the results!

In this case, I'd suggest opening a case with Microsoft support, detailing the behavior and the actions are done. Maybe there is an additional component that we are not seeing now and deeper analysis will be needed.

    Regards,

    Yader.
