date filters

I am attempting to set a permanent filter on the sales price from the item card.  I enter 01-01-05..01-01-13 for example.  When I go to check to see if the filter took it states that 2005-01-01..2013-01-01 is not a valid date..

Does anyone know how to correct this so it is not reading the date as an international date.  I checked language it is all correct, English first.

Thank you,

Traci

The date formats are according to the regional settings on your computer, not the language.

Try to change the regional settings and restart the NAV client.

If you don't want to change the date format of your workstation, please change the filter date accordingly.

    It will definitely work.

    Jerry, is it done?

Sorry for the delay, Jerry's email was under my profile.  He has just returned from VAC - I am going to attempt to change the regional settings in NAV and see if that works.

Hopefully I can locate the regional settings to process.  Thank you.

I viewed the regional settings under Country/Region and I do not see where a date format is being followed.  Where would I find the regional settings?

Did you look on the Date tab under Control Panel, Region, Additional Settings?

Very Simple steps as given below.

In Region dialog box just click on Additional Settings after that click on Date tab and set date format.
