Chinese characters in ER XML payment file

Hi all,

I am having issues getting Chinese characters in the export payment file XML that is generated via ER.
In the data debugger the name is clearly visible in the generated data, however, in the XML the value is left blank.

I have tried both UTF-8 and UTF-16 encoding, but both seem to have the same issue.

In SEPA Payment, you have a formula that drops non characters that are outside A-Z range. Check that formula.

Hi Nuno,

I disabled this formula in electronic reporting, this is how I can see the value in the debugger.

In Transformation field, can you display your value ?

That formula in transformation is replacing chars by spaces.

remove transformation and try again.

you need to adjust that formula to avoid exporting chars that break xml
