AOS Crashes PLEASE HELP

Hello,

my AOS Service Crashes every few Hours - Please Help.

Ive Allready contactes Micrsoft Support but not got a solution yet.

Ive Tried on 2 Servers and on both the AOS crashes.

Microsoft told me to update to the newest Patch level - but the problem is still there...

Hi Andreg,

Try to find any related events in the windows event viewer. It might give additional information.

Which version of AX are you using?

the first error i got says something with the .net framework "faulting application..."

Maybe you have made some changes to the system classes which are called periodically for example in bach.

Ive allready deactivated all batch jobs

sometime it crashes every 5 minutes...sometime it works a day...

Hi Andreg

How much memory have AOS server ?

However, I suggest :

2- Compile ALL Application and check if there are objects with errors.

3- If you want to see what your AOS is actually running before crash, look at blogs.msdn.com/.../so-your-aos-crashed-is-hanging-or-you-just-want-to-see-what-it-s-doing.aspx

Before starting to compile as suggested by Denis Macchinetti i would do this:

- shut down AOS

- remove *.aoi file (in application folder).

- start AOS. The start might be rather long ~20min is Ok. new *,aoi fiel will be generated

Afterwards proceed with full compile.

Also beware of damaged application files caused by viruses (especially *.SYS) or storage IO problems. Damage will be revealed during *.aoi generation or during compile.

Ive allready tryd removind the aoi und compile the whole Application last week...after a day it crashed again

there is 16GB of Momory in the AOS Server...

Ive created a crash dmp and send it to Microsoft but no answer yet...

If you have the Dump and follow the link above, is not complex to retrieve the process\user that create the issue.
