Workflow type selection is empty when activating workflow

Hi guys,

When I want activate Workflow in SalesTableListPage form, in Design node -> Property :Workflow Type, what is the setting that resulting some options over there ? because mine is now empty.

So here is what I already did :

1. Create Workflow Category, put module on Sales Order.

2. Create Workflow Type, and specify the new Workflow Category.

3. In SalesTableListPage, Workflow Enabled also set to Yes.

During Workflow Type creation wizard, I already specify the category to my new WF category, query and menu item to SalesTableListPage also, for this matters. Some curiosity, if I stated everything there and then after it is created, can I just change the Module in that WF Category? because initially the module is set to Cust then now I changed to Sales Order.

Yes, I'm also following that blog. Also this :

I haven't touch the submission classes, btw, since in that reference, also mentioned the step to activate in the form can before we manage the submit code and all.

In addition to my step earlier, I only added method CanSubmitToWorkFlow and UpdateWorkflowStatus in the Source table which is SalesTable. Then I modified the EventHandler class to use that UpdateWorkflowStatus that just created. I don't think this relates to that Workflow Type selection, right ?

So what factor actually makes the Workflow Type selection has my custom workflow type appear. Is the step I stated earlier not enough ? or somewhat not related to that selection ?

Hi all,

anyone have a clue what I need to check so that the WorkflowType selection in property of form is available ? As mentioned, I'm using SalesTableListPage for this customisation, and extended in Fleet Management mode. I already created the workflow up to Workflow approval but still it is empty.

I also have doubt on Step 12, the last one, what menu item he talking about.

Please advice.

You need to manually enter the workflow type name.

Yeah, it turned out manual is ok. But just curios, is this normal ? since the reference is not directly from Microsoft. The lookup is there so I wonder if there is something wrong or left out during my creation.
