Add product to Retail catalog creating on-line store

Hello, everybody!

I try to set up Catalog to create online store in Retail.

I added a new product to Navigation hierarchy, to Retail hierarchy, I added relevant navigation hierarchy to a proper Online stores (retail channel) and Retail hierarchy to Assortment, BUT when I try to add this new product to Catalog I don't see it in both Navigation and Retail hierarchy, so that I can not add it.

Please, help me to resolve this problem. What setting could I miss.

I would be extremely grateful for any suggestions

Julia,

go to the Retail -> Assortments -> Products fast tab and change line type to Exclude. The publish and process this assortment again

Are you trying to add a Master Product, Variant or Standalone ?

Hello,

I didn't try this on the VM. It could be that the VM creates your issues. It's alway difficult to get multiple Services running smoothly on a VM

I fail step:

8. On the Action Pane, in the Products group, click Add products. (technet.microsoft.com/.../jj728712.aspx)

So, I can add products, that were added in demo base earlier (out of box). But mine products I cannot add despite they are added to Assortment and Retail and Navigation hierarchies. I just cant select them. So I understand that there are some settings of the product, but which?

Pavel, did you use VM when you set up you retail catalog? Or you set up everything by yourself. I suspect that there can be problems with VM.

Because I use DAX VM DEMO v4.

hmmm, did you validate the catalog? did you publish the catalog?

the first link might be helpful. let me know if you did all these steps and if/where they fail.

I have tried your idea, but failed.

Have I done everything right?

I added a retail channel and a product (from retail hierarchy) to an assortment.

Than I published the assortment.

Than I do Retail - Periodic - Process Assortments (I work with AX 2012 R2 CU7) - no errors

Than I try to add the product to a catalog, but still I don't see the product(

Hello,

after you add it to the Retail hierarchy, you must run the Assortment Scheduler under Retail -> Periodic.
