General journal approval rules

Hello,

We have a general rule that all general journals require an approval and we have set up approval workflow that routes all entries to the appropriate approver. However, there is a subset of journals (using a specific journal naming convention) that we would like to either not require approvals or have an automated approval process push them through. Would anyone have suggestions on how we can do this?

We would like to not have to specify a workflow for each journal template, but rather have a carve out for this one exception.

Thanks

    Hi,
You can achieve this by creating a conditional branch in your workflow for the subset of journals that you would like to either not require approvals or have an automated approval process push them through.
