Hi,
I would like know how to reverse a shipment concluded, a shipment with status "shipped". Is there a way to do this?
Kind regards,
Richardson

Are you talking about Salesorder/Salesline?
There is a trick we do in ax2009, don't know if it works in 2012.
In Salesline, select the appropriote row, press 'functions' and 'deliveryrest' (not sure about the translation is correct).
Add 1 (it's enough to unlock the row). After you did that, you can book another shipment, this time with a negative amount (that corresponds to the amount you want to reverse). Book it, and again go to the row, press 'functions' and 'delivery rest'. Decrease the number with 1 (the 1 you added before) and the salesline shipment will be reversed. The inventory will receive the amount that was subtracted before, but you will not be able to ship that line again, you need to make a new like to make a new shipment.
Just a long shot, i'm not certain this is the answer you are looking for..
Hi Axi.
Thank you for your answer.
I'm not referring about Sales line. I am referring about shipments, who are located at following way on the system: Inventory Management>Common>Shipments. There's a field who indicates the status of a shipment. The final state is "Shipped". I would like know if there is a way of reverse this status to registered. If status is registered, it's possible perform corrections into process.
Kind regards.
If transfer order, once shipped it must be recieved first then returned. I believe that there is no way to reuse the same shipment once shipped. The pack list will have to be corrected or cancelled.
For sales, go to Sales order > Pick and pack tab > Journal section > Packing slip button
Select packing slip > use either Correct button or Cancel button
trying this in 2019 in D365. it worked once. on the LOAD you can do all the reversing. nowhere else.
There is a 'reverse shipmentconfirm" menu choice there and it worked in one case In all the other cases the choice was not available . no idea.
