Was this customer a prospect?

Hi,

Is there a way to determine if customer 123 was previously a prospect?  I'm looking at the database and when you convert a prospect to a customer the prospect record is deleted from smmBusRelTable.  I'd like to automate some reports for our sales guys (external to AX) to give them a list of prospects that have been converted to customers for the week.

    HI rumberger,

    I've tested this on AX 2012 R3, and here the relation stays in smmBusRelTable.

    only BusRelTypeId is changed to Customer.

    Check the setup under:

    Sales and Marketing --> Setup --> Prospects --> Relational Types

    if here for prospect record the Delete converted prospect is turned on.

    This is exactly what I'm looking for.  I just tested this in my development environment on AX2012 R2 and it was as set to delete prospect records after they've been converted to a customer.
