Tracking Token Configuration Change

Hi

We currently have ran into the problem that the default tracking token configuration (leading 0, 3 digits for user, 3 digits for email) is starting to repeat itself. I read in other threads that this can be increased in the system settings. Before I'd do that I wanted to ask if there is anything to worry about since it's already a live system which has been worked on for over a year by many users. Is there a risk involved by changing this in the current state?

Thanks for the help in advance

    Hi,

When I increase the /Number of digits for incremental message counter/ to 4, this means that the id will start at 0000 and increment to 9999.

This change will not affect previous emails.
For newly created emails, the value of the tracking token is based on the token value of the most recent email before the token was changed plus one.

Therefore, increasing Number of digits for incremental message counter by configuring tracking token will not affect the existing system.

    Best Regards,
    Dengliang Li
