How to restrict Posting of MO RECEIPT ENTRY with INSUFFICIENT Quantities on Hand

Hi. Is there any way to stop or setup a password to Post a MO Receipt Entry which have backflush a component that don't have sufficient quantities on hand? Right now it is allowing POSTING with less quantities. Also can I get a report of all (Posted) MO RECEIPT ENTRIES with shortage/insufficient quantities of items?

Yes, you can use field level security on post button and setup a password for it too.

For report, custom report can be designed to show MO Receipt with insufficient quantities of items.

and how field level security will analyze about shortage quantity? I believe filed level security on posting button will restrict all posting even if there is no shortages. can you please advise?

You are correct, it wouldn't work also have to check for quantity shortage. In this case it can be done via some dexterity coding or vba.
