Hi ,
We specify the posting accounts on Category Groups and also on Project Groups. What do these do? What difference does it make between these two posting accounts?
Also for example, if i specify Account A on Category group. And if on project group for all Project groups - Category group - Account B. Then what will be considered? Where can i identify this accounts when its posted?

If you specify an account at the category group and category level, the one at the lower level, that is at the category level will be used.
It is the All-Group-Item rule that you can basically find everywhere in Dynamics that also applies here.
As an accountant I would recommend setting up ledger accounts at the project category level rather than at the group level.
Depending on the number of categories that you have this might require the setup of a couple of ledger accounts if each category shall be posted on an individual account.
