Relation between Core HR module and Onboard module

Hello Team,

Can we now if there is any link in between onboard module and core hr module??

Is there any possibility that when I onboard any employee, it appears in core HR as well??

Or any connection between core hr and onboard??

Is there any report in core HR to track the guides or templates in onboard(for ex :which employee the guide is sent or when it is sent, did he receive it, etc)

Can we add the employee of the core hr to appear in the onboard module user list??

Please help me in understanding the connection if any, Document related will also be appreciated.

Hello,

there is no integration between the CoreHR and Onboarding. however, both applications keeps their data in PowerApps (CDS) and you can automate some things. CoreHR has only a limited number of entities synced with PowerApps, while Onboard has all the entities in PowerApps (CDS)

Please be aware that starting February 2020, Onboarding and Attract will can no longer be sold to new customers.

How can I access the entities in power apps (CDS) for onboard?

Is there any report in Powerapps/core HR to track the guides or templates in onboard(for ex: which employee the guide is sent or when it is sent, did he receive it, etc)

Hello Hish,

1. entities in power apps (CDS) - you can access them here https://make.powerapps.com. Choose the correct environment, from top right corner. Go to Data and then Entities on the left hand menu.

2. There is no documentation explaining what entities are from Onboard, but you can figure it out very fast. just a hint: all entities from Attract and Onboard have the prefix msdyn_. All entities from CoreHR have the prefix cdm_

3. report in Powerapps/core HR to track the guides ? - There is no such thing
