Shopify Order Synchronization not working, orders to import table not populating shop code.

I have the Shopify shop configured and the 30104 job runs without error in the background. AutoSync orders from Shopify is toggled, but it does not sync. On the "Shopify Orders to Import" screen the orders populate with the shop code, there is only one shop code, and that is the one code on the import orders from Shopify job and where the AutoSync toggle is toggled.
I have the same question (1)

Have you enabled Logging? If not, allow logging on the Shopify Card, and then check Shopify Log Entries for errors or issues.

@Suresh Kulla I have error logging set up and no errors are logged.

Hi, it is recommended to post it in the BC yammer group below, where Microsoft technicians will give you a better response.

I apologize, but it is challenging to identify the issue without reviewing the setup and debugging the process. You can also try running the process in the foreground instead of using the Job Queue and check if any errors appear. Usually if there is any mismatch or if it is not find the matching record it will not synch the records.

For the Shopify syncing with Business Central if the job queue (30104 job) is successfully completing without errors, but nothing is syncing and the autoSync orders from Shopify toggle is set to 'on' you should check the following:

    • On the Shopify Orders to Import page, make sure that the Shopify Shop Code exactly matches what is used in the job queue entry and the configuration. A small difference in the codes may cause the sync to stop.
    • You may also try to temporarily uncheck the 'Allow Background Syncs' option on the Shopify Shop card. This will force the sync tasks to run in the foreground., it may also display error messages or logs directly for view.
    • Review the permission shown on the user that is running the job queue. The user needs to have the Shopify-Admin permission set to be able to sync properly.
    • Consider if there are missing or mismatched data such as dimension, customer or item records in Business Central that the connector was expecting based on the data coming from Shopify.
    • Some of the connectors have built in troubleshooting pages or tools to use from within Business Central that allows the reprocessing of failed orders or to view the raw data payloads.

Taking these steps should help to determine why orders are not auto-syncing when the job runs successfully.

    Thanks,
    Nimsara

@Nimsara Jayathilaka Thank you for your response. When I run the job in the foreground there are no issues logged. The user has Shopify Admin access. When I refresh the Shopify Orders to Import page everything populates correctly except the Shopify Shop code, that field is blank. When I click into it I am able to select the Shopify shop which is our only Shopify shop, but it is not populating itself. Do you have ideas of what to do here?

We are using the default Shopify customer, and all items are mapped, sometimes if a new item is created, the sales order does not get created until after the item is mapped, but that is to be expected.

The issue was solved with a redownload of the shopify app. Additionally, in the yammer community I learned that the Shop code should not be populating on the orders to import page, and the sync sometimes takes more than 30 minutes (how often our batch job was running).

@CU30091731-0 I'm running into the exact same issue.

So is the expectation that the shop code doesn't load on "orders to import" view? The statement below contradicts that seems like it does need it.

    • On the Shopify Orders to Import page, make sure that the Shopify Shop Code exactly matches what is used in the job queue entry and the configuration. A small difference in the codes may cause the sync to stop.

But then you mention " Additionally, in the yammer community I learned that the Shop code should not be populating on the orders to import page"

So is that actually the case? I don't see a shop code on mines and no auto sync is kicking in.

I re-installed my app but nothing is still happening in my case. If the sync takes as long as the batch job what is the point of the auto sync hah.

Should mention I'm on version 26.0.39898.0
