Unit Conversion required to Run AP Reports

I ran a AX Report today called "Vendor/Item statistics". I get an error that a unit conversion does not exist. It does not exist anymore.

We have deleted it because it is not worthwhile to use anymore. The Purch unit is stored in the VendinvoiceTrans Table. This is the unit conversion it is looking for.

This seems like you would always have to keep the unit conversions around for this report to work.

This seems like a fundamental design flaw. Any time you would delete a unit conversion you could break all of the purchasing and customer reports???

If you want to see the summed value in the statistics, you need to convert all transactions to a single unit to be able to sum them together, don't you?
