Adding a specific external contact to customer email notifcations

Posted on by 75

Hi,

I would like to add external contacts to specific accounts that are is not the actual contact who reports the case.
They would like to receive for all cases specific to that account only

That is they want to receive follow-ups for all future service calls

Thanks

    Hi,

Plugin is custom code which you can implement using c#. Any CRM developer in your project should be able to do that.

    HI,

You should be able to achieve using pre-create Email plugin and check if To party is Contact. the fetch all contacts from Company associated to Contact. then  add it into CC activity party.

Thanks for your response, but not what I was looking for.

What I need exactly is when a email gets triggered for a contact A (the contact reporting the issue) for Company A,
I also want to send an email to Contact B from Company A.

To be clear, any contact reporting an Issue from Company A, I want to also 'cc' Contact B.

    Hope this clears things up.

    Thanks

    Hello nickmang,

to allow external, unresolved email addresses, you have an option within your System Settings, to allow these.

Please go to your Advanced Settings > Settings > Administration > System Settings:

Check the Tab "Email" and you will find an option for "Allow messages with unresolved email recipients":

After setting this to "yes", should resolving your issue.

I hope this helps. Please let me know, if this resolved your behavior.

Thank you very much and have a nice day.
