How to set alloweedit true for unbound control when parent control datasource is non editable in a form.

In below screen shot, Parent tab have the CustTrans datasource which is non editable handling form active method. But under the tab StringEdit control is unbound control. I need to set it as editable.

Please suggest the solution.

Thanks

What if you simply clear out the DataSource property value (for OverviewTab)?

I would agree, remove the DataSource from the TabPage:OverviewTab, then if you want to limit what is editable beneath this TabPage set the AllowEdit property of the child Grid, Group and StringEdit controls.
